My name is Sydney Freeman and I make beats. I used to do graffiti under the guise of “decoy” but I stopped to make hip-hop beats. I go by the name DJ Sandman now. I don’t DJ if your wondering I just added that in case I scratch on my beats.
I’m also a nerd. I love comic books and video games. I used to write video game reviews but I lost interest in that. I also write short stories (10-15 pages). I read a different comic every week. My favorite comic has to be Alan Moore’s Watchmen. I also like everything Frank Miller writes (cept probably All Star Batman). The Sin City, Swamp Thing, Hellblazer, Ultimate Marvel are some of my favorite comic series’.
I’m also a hip-hop nerd. I listen to people most never hear about. People like Pharoahe Monch, Black Moon, and Boot Camp Clik. I’m what you call a backpacker. I’m not a big fan of people like Hurricane Chris, Lil Boosie, or Soulja Boy. I like music with a message not just a song that will teach a dance thats gonna get old in a good 2 weeks. I’m not hating or nothing I’m just a child of the old school.

Hey, just found your blog (like you said, through searching for nujabes). Interesting; I’ll be one of the many checking in once in a while. I tried looking for the ristorante mixtape last year, but I kinda got frustrated and gave up. But I started looking again, and noticed you found it. Is there any way I can get it? I dont know what music I could give you in return (it seems like we have a similar library, yours probably more sophisticated), buh uh, how bout a logo or something? I’m a graphic designer…
